A winner’s night out with Adam Liaw

Recently we ran a competition to give one fan, plus 2 friends, the chance to experience an exclusive dining experience with Adam Liaw at our 1909 Dining Precinct. Sarah Lee was lucky the winner – read all about her deluxe dinner below.

“We started our evening with an entree of peking duck at Beijing Impressions. Coming from a family of mixed culture, my husband born in Hong Kong – I was surprised his family have never ordered this dish when we have dined out. This is something I will certainly need to change because I thoroughly enjoyed this dish.”

“We moved onto Kogi Korean BBQ…and chose the Wagyu platter. We were very privileged to have Adam cook our BBQ meats for us and give us an insight on how best to eat the meats and with what sauces. The staff were extremely attentive to our needs and it was a fun experience, I would most certainly return.”

“Our highlight of the evening was our meal at The Dolar Shop. We all vowed to return to this amazing place. It had a really chic atmosphere and it was a fun and delicious way to have a meal. We enjoyed the whole fish, prawn balls, squid ,dumplings and sweet potato noodles and their vast array of sauces.  I’ve never seen such beautiful presentation.”

“We concluded the evening with Japanese dessert from Yayoi. We sampled a couple of desserts from the menu, they were really delicious!! We liked the fun way of ordering via an ipad like device, I would return to Yayoi in the future and try their other tempting menu options.”
