Mid-Autumn Festival is now underway at Market City, bringing food, culture and plenty of ways to celebrate this special time of year to the heart of Chinatown.
Gather your friends and family and enjoy dining beneath glowing lanterns, shopping Australia’s largest mooncake sale, and scoring giveaways and more throughout the festival!
Dine under the lanterns on Level 3
Gather and celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with lunch or dinner at the 1909 Dining Precinct on Level 3.
The colourful lantern installations set the scene, with nine authentic Asian restaurants serving everything from hot pot and seafood to noodles and more.
Plus, dine after 6pm, and enjoy FREE parking at 2 Quay Street, Haymarket. Simply validate your parking ticket at the restaurant and exit the car park before 1am.
Or, dine at The Eight Restaurant between 9am–3.30pm and enjoy two hours of free parking.
Shop Australia’s largest mooncake sale

Thai Kee IGA’s Australia’s Largest Mooncake Sale is back at Centre Court on Level 1, and it’s as big as ever!

Meet Madam Tot: Personalised Calligraphy.
The much-loved Madam Tot is returning to Market City for another Mid-Autumn Festival.
Watch as she creates beautiful paint calligraphy, puts pen to paper in elegant ink, then take home a personalised piece of calligraphy featuring your name or a meaningful message.
