A vivid new centre experience

Take in a dreamy light display on Level 3

Sydney’s annual festival of light, music, ideas and food has once again arrived at Market City. Experience this year’s theme of ‘dreaming’ via a free immersive light show on Level 3, and delight in some delicious dinner to unlock free parking, allowing you to enjoy the city-wide festival.

A bold new dining destination has opened its doors on Market City’s ground floor, opening the door to punchy, spice-laden flavours of Hunan cuisine. If you dine at 25 Spices during vivid – or any other venue in our 1909 Dining Precinct – you can park for FREE in the CBD. So, enjoy a spicy bite before you head out and revel in the rest of the festival!

Simply enter after 6pm, exit before 1am and validate your ticket at the restaurant.

Kids Lion Dance Competition 

11:00am – 5:30pm Saturday 7 June

Centre Court on Level 1 is set to transform into a vibrant global stage for the weekend, beginning with the Kids Lion Dance Competition. Cheer them on, hear them roar and enjoy the cultural performances throughout the day.

Australian Lion Dance Exhibition

10am – 5pm, Sunday 8 June

On Sunday, be mesmerised once again at the Centre Court on Level 1 by the Australian Dance Exhibition as they celebrate their shared art, culture and talent through traditional Chinese dance, performed to bring good luck and prosperity.
